The exhibition at the Fundacion Serralves shows the reflections from the Large Scale Master on the city if Oporto and surrounding Freixo and Campinhä, with the purpose of responding to the complex problems generated by this peripheral area with-in present-day Oporto.

The extraordinary potentiality in the Freixo area grounded in the existing conditions such as the possible recuperation of semi abandoned areas, the rehabilitation of obsolete industrial structures, the transformation of deficient housing and the elaboration of new and necessary connections enables the envisage of Freixo as a new and unique center within Oporto.
